Hytale Update 2 is now out!

Its that time again! Hytale update 2 is now released.
This is a compulsory update - customers will need to update their servers for this release in order to continue playing.
Updates to the server can be done from the Installer and Modpacks section of the control panel. We do not auto update the servers as this can introduce corruption from mods and plugins which may need to be updated first.
Here is a quick summary of the update:
Hytale Update 2 focuses on a mix of improvements, balancing, and major backend/server upgrades. It adds new cosmetics and character customization options (including armour visibility toggles and improved animations), introduces several gameplay tweaks like adjusted mining/tool progression, creature balance changes, and new crafting options, and delivers a solid set of farming improvements (better soil/crop behaviour, seed returns, and offhand torch support). On the world side, it expands WorldGen V2 support with new flat/void templates and updates ore generation so new chunks contain refreshed ore layouts. UI and accessibility also get attention with clearer tooltips, inventory shortcuts, an optional FPS counter, map/compass readability upgrades, and an "Ophidiophobia mode" that replaces snakes. The server side has a big push toward stability plus large list of fixes and refinements across gameplay, audio/visuals, and general performance.

Hytale first update is out!

Only just over 5 days since the pre-release and Hytale have already pushed through a content update along with many fixes!

Customers on STIPE hosting can update their servers from the Installer and Modpacks section with one click.
We currently do not push out automated 0-click updates to avoid any incompatibility issues with existing mods or plugins customers may be using. However an automatic upgrade toggle will be made available for customers who do want their servers updated immediately.
Our development team are working around the clock to complete all features on the control panel for Hytale. Expect a Mod and Plugin Management system soon! For now please continue to use File Manager or FTP to upload and manage your mods.

The Minecraft 1.21.6 update is officially here, bringing fresh gameplay mechanics, improved visuals, and a few long-requested features. Here is a quick breakdown of what to expect:
Ride the Happy Ghast
This update introduces a unique new mob: the Happy Ghast.- Found by crafting a Dried Ghast in the Nether.
- Rehydrate it in the Overworld to get a Ghastling, which eventually grows into a Happy Ghast.
- Equip it with a harness and it becomes rideable, able to carry up to four players!
Locator Bar - Multiplayer Navigation
A new Locator Bar replaces the XP bar when not gaining XP.- Helps point out the direction of nearby players.
- Great for coordination in multiplayer worlds.
- Server admins can enable or disable it as needed.
New Music and Soundtracks
New background tracks composed by Amos Roddy.
Includes a new music disc called "Tears".
Enhances the ambiance across several biomes and menus.
Crafting and Gameplay Enhancements- Saddle Crafting: You can now craft saddles using 3 leather and 1 iron ingot.
- Lead Update: Leads now only require string to craft. Plus, you can leash multiple mobs at once.
- Harnesses: Equip your Happy Ghast with colorful harnesses that support multiple riders.
Bedrock Edition - Vibrant Visuals
Players on Bedrock Edition now have access to Vibrant Visuals.
This adds improved lighting, shadows, reflections, and fog effects.
This feature is exclusive to Bedrock for now.

Extended Backup Retention Now Live!

We're excited to announce an upgrade to our backup system!
Effective today, we have implemented a new backup solution that significantly extends the retention period for expired or suspended customer servers. Previously, backups were stored for 1.5 months - but with this update, we're now keeping them for over 6 months!
Summary of what's changing:- Old retention: 1.5 months
- New retention: 6 months
- Effective from: Today
- Applies to: Existing, expired and suspended customer servers

Great news, Minecraft 1.21.5 is now released and is automatically included on a new server install via the STIPE Control panel. You can also install it any time you like from the Installer and Modpacks section.
The Minecraft 1.21.5 update, titled 'Spring to Life', is officially released! This update brings exciting new content aimed at making the Overworld feel more dynamic and immersive. Here is a quick summary of what you can expect:
🌿 New Mobs and Plants
Six new mobs have been added, giving players more variety in their world encounters.
A wide selection of new plants helps bring more life and color to the Overworld.
🔧 Quality-of-Life Improvements
This update includes several gameplay refinements and bug fixes to enhance the overall experience.

Minecraft 1.21.5 is Almost Here - Get Ready!
With the release of Minecraft 1.21.5 Release Candidate 1, the next official update is just around the corner!
We've been working hard behind the scenes, testing and tuning our servers to make sure everything is running smoothly and ready for the update.
As with every new Minecraft version, platforms like Spigot, Forge, Fabric, and others will take a little more time to update after Mojang's official release.
So if you're running a modded or plugin-based server - hang tight! These updates usually roll out within a few days to a couple of weeks.
But that doesn't mean you have to wait to play!
With STIPE Control Panel, you can create a new server profile running Minecraft 1.21.5 Vanilla and dive right into the action.
Your existing modpacks and plugin setups will remain untouched while you explore the latest features in a fresh environment!
Tips to Prepare for 1.21.5:- Although we have a robust backup time machine solution, its always good to download a copy of your server files before updating
- Avoid rushing into plugin/mod updates. Wait for official releases from developers to ensure stability.
- Take advantage of STIPE Control Panel's Server Profile Manager to create multiple isolated setups for Vanilla and Modded play.
We'll keep monitoring the release channels for Spigot, Paper, Forge, and Fabric, and we'll let you know the moment they're stable for Minecraft 1.21.5.

Minecraft 1.20.6 update released! Armored Paws drop! Travel to the Savanna and Badlands biomes and say hello to the endearing Armadillos. Find and befriend eight new Wolf variants and equip your canine companions with dyable armor made from Armadillo Scutes and go adventuring together!
On the technical side, the Armored Paws drop is also introducing a change to how Java Edition spawn chunks work. Making the spawn chunk radius a configurable game rule and decreasing the default value by 98% which will improve significant performance to players!

We have now added additional support for modpacks made via the Modrinth App.
Using the STIPE Modrinth Installer, it will deploy an existing modpack created by a community aswell as custom modpacks created by you. Simply upload the Modrinth mdpack file and click Install via the Modrinth Installer section of the control panel. -

The long waited new generation of CPUs are here, Ryzen 7000 series! STIPE have acquired multiple 7950x and 7900x systems and have commenced testing & tuning in preparation for production release.
Server-grade hardware are still being manufactured so we may not see final release till early February 2023.
As part of the initial phase, the new upcoming CPUs will be under our Premium plans as an Ultra CPU upgrade option and are suited for those who have high demanding custom minecraft servers. It will also have improved world generation speeds and higher entity threshold. (Pricing TBA)

This is a urgent fix for Minecraft 1.19.1- Fixed an issue causing players to get disconnected with secure chat

As we look back to our achievements and challenges, 2021 has highlighted to be one of our most challenging yet achieving year since the start of the company. With the increased demand of server hosting not just in quantity, but also in performance, required us perform a complete overhaul of our infrastructure while yet managing though the infamous chip shortage, Covid-19 lockdowns, postage delays and supply-chain issues.
